Revive is for adults who have decided to stop compulsive use of certain websites, searches or apps. You choose what to block. A PIN and your authenticator app keep it in place. And, if you want, one person you trust is told the moment you turn it off.
Most blockers fail the same way: at 2 a.m. you switch them off. Revive lets you name one person who holds the keys. They are asked by email first and can say no or stop at any time. Once they accept, turning protection off, removing a block or uninstalling the app needs a code from them, and they get a short email saying it happened. That is all they ever see.
No browsing traffic is routed through any remote server, and nothing about your browsing is logged or sent anywhere.
Your partner never receives your blocklists, browsing activity, PIN, or any content.
No ads, no trackers, no account to create. What we do hold, and why, is set out plainly in the privacy policy, and you can delete it from inside the app. The terms of use cover the trial and billing.
People in recovery from compulsive use of pornography, gambling sites, social media or games, and anyone who wants their phone to hold a line they have already drawn. Revive is for adults. It is not a parental control app.
